SHIPPING 

We ship using USPS, FedEx, UPS or DHL. We ship anywhere in the US and around the world with a valid shipping address.  All Retail orders take from 24 to 48 hours to process, fill and ship.  All Wholesale and Distributor Orders take from 24 hours to 96 to process, fill and ship. All orders placed on Friday will be shipped on Monday; we do not ship over the weekends or on Federal holidays.  To learn more about shipping and estimated delivery times for each delivery method click here.

The price of shipping depends on the weight of your package.  Before checking out, you can click on your cart and under Estimate Shipping and Tax, click the Get a Quote Button. This will provide an estimate and you can choose how you would like your order shipped!

US ORDERS

All shipping options have a tracking number and can take from 1 to 10 days for you to receive your order depending on the shipping type chosen and your location.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

All shipping options have a tracking number except, USPS First Class Mail International, so if you would like to follow your order along the way, choose any option except this one!  First Class Mail International can take from 2 to 6 weeks to arrive.

All other shipping options generally arrive within 1 to 4 weeks depending on Customs. Please note all international customers are responsible for customs and duties of packages entering your country.

CUSTOM MADE

For Retail Orders, custom made item(s) are made first (typically takes from 1 to 3 weeks to manufacture custom item(s)), then the whole order is filled and the entire order is shipped out. Check custom item(s) for production time, they typically run from 1 to 3 weeks for production.

For Wholesale and Distributor Orders, the order is filled and shipped and does not include the custom made items(s). The custom made item(s) are made and will ship at a later date. Check custom item(s) for production time, they typically run from 1 to 3 weeks for production.

INSURANCE

 
Add Hassle-Free Insurance to your order and never worry about lost packages again.  For Domestic Orders, if you don't receive your package within 3 weeks of estimated delivery, we will reship your package at no extra cost.  For International Orders, if you don't receive your package within 45 days of shipment, we will reship your package at no extra cost.

If you're order is international and you choose First Class International and don't insure the package, we don't reship. Please insure!

RETURNS

Ship the unworn, unused item in the original packaging back to Painful Pleasures within 30 days of delivery for a Store Credit or an Exchange (only available for damaged or incorrect orders). Painful Pleasures gladly accepts unworn, unwashed, unused, or defective full-priced merchandise for up to thirty days after purchase date. No returns are accepted on Cheyenne Hawk Products, Gold, Custom Made Items, Ink, Adult Toys, Books and DVD's, Contacts, Closeout items, Tattoo Machines & Needles, and E-cigs. Due to the nature of the items, there are no refunds. If you are issued a store credit, the store credit will be for the cost of the items, shipping charges are not refundable. For complete details click here. 

WARRANTY

We have a 30 Day Warranty against manufacturer's defects.

If an item ever arrives broken or defective we will replace the same item free of charge. Depending on the item we may request that the defective item be returned. Please see our Returns Policy for more information.

THREADING

What Are Threads?

Body Jewelry that has an end ball that screws on and off have threads.  This body jewelry includes straight barbells, curved (bent) barbells, circular barbells, and labret jewelry.  A thread is a spiral ridge that winds either internally or externally around the metal like that on a bolt or the inside of a nut.

What is the difference between Internal and External?

Externally threaded body jewelry has the thread on the end of the barbell, external to the shaft, and it is placed inside a threaded hole in the ball. When externally threaded jewelry is being passed through the piercing, the threads also pass through it, and then the ball is screwed into place.

Internally threaded body jewelry has a threaded hole inside the barbell, internal to the shaft and then an external thread protruding from the ball. When internally threaded jewelry is being passed through a piercing, a smooth barbell passes through the piercing, and then the ball is inserted and screwed into place.

How to know which pieces of Jewelry Thread Together?

Each piece of jewelry has a thread pattern. Common thread patterns are found in the following table. Please note that these thread patterns are the most common for PAINFUL PLEASURES jewelry; however you must look at each piece of jewelry to determine what the actual thread pattern is.  A 0.9mm internally threaded ball or gem top will thread onto a 0.9mm internally threaded shaft. A 0.9mm internally threaded ball or gem will NOT thread onto a 0.8mm internally threaded shaft, make sense?

You also must be sure to look at not only the thread pattern but the gauge indicated.  10g through 00g that are Internally Threaded MAY have the same 2.0mm thread pattern. A 2.0mm Internally Counterbored ball meant for a 00g barbell will fit onto a 10g shaft; however the shape of the ball is meant for a 00g barbell. The same goes for all other gauges, so be cognizant when picking ends for your jewelry.
